This contains research to support this model and evaluative points which is what I need to know for exams.


Grading Criteria

Exam is out of 62 marks.

In order to know how to answer questions correctly, it is important to understand clearly what it is the examiner is looking for in your examination responses. The examiner is looking to assess 3 main skills.

- Your understanding of How science works.

Marks will be awarded on accuracy, detail and relevance of description; breadth and effectiveness of analysis and evaluation of understanding.

AO3: How science works - Psychology

AS - PSYA1

Unit 1 - Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology and Research Methods AQA
Written Paper - 1hour 30minutes
Weighting - 50% of total AS marks
                  25% of total A2 marks

Structured compulsory questions based on Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology and Research Psychology.

Questions include short answer; stimulus material and one 12 mark question requiring extended writing in which QWC will be assessed.

Introduction to blog

In this blog I will include information to help me further prepare for my Psychology AS exam in the summer of 2012. The first topic I will include on my blog is 'Memory' and some of the theory involved in memory.
